Skoda Octavia 1.2 petrol - small engine, big car, great value for money

Such great value for money.......

Simon Shield Cars newest used car in stock is a 2014 Skoda Octavia 1.2 TSI. Big car, small engine. But so much more.

The 1.2 TSI petrol engine punches far above its weight and is faster than the 1.6 diesel, achieving 60mph from a standing start in 10.8 seconds and hitting a top speed of 119mph.  Despite its small size, the 1.2-litre TSI engine has 104bhp and 175Nm of torque. Making the torque strong in the lower regions between 1,550 rpm and 4,100 rpm. All part of the Volkswagen power plant.

From the small engine to the big boot space.  The Octavia has got to have one of the biggest boot spaces in the hatchback market. From 580 litres to 1,580 when the rear seats have been folded flat (60/40 split). It also comes with a full sized spare wheel underneath the boot space with all the tools that are necessary.

You can easily seat 5 adults in the car and it comes with isofix fittings for kids car seats.

The infotainment system has a 5.8" colour touchscreen function with bluetooth, DAB radio and fuel economy options together with Aux and USB plug ins. Air conditioning is standard and so are front electric windows.

Back in 2014 the Skoda Octavia won best family car in the UK Car of the year awards and also the 1.2 TSI won the Caravan Clubs tow car of the year 2014.

What are you waiting for, check out this Superb, sorry Octavia from Skoda and Simon Shield Cars.
